Initially released as the Zeus 2.0, the Ares was created to have the similar feel of the Zeus, but with added torque resistance for a more overstable flight. Discraft made the Ares to be a complementary option to the Zeus when players need "added confidence in wind or on harder, more committed powerful lines."
