Ching – Founded in 1997, Ching developed a proprietary process for full-color printing on discs. The company later went on to develop their extremely popular (but discontinued) military line of golf discs. Disc Golf Association (DGA) – There can be only one original, and DGA is it (at least for disc golf). DGA was founded in 1975 by “Steady” Ed Headrick. Ed previously worked for Wham-o, invented & patented the Frisbee, invented & patented the
Disc Golf Basket, and founded the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA). Ed passed away in 2002 at the age of 78. It was “Steady” Ed's wishes that once he passed away his

Discraft – Discraft was founded in 1979 and is located in Wixom, MI. Discraft is the manufacturer of the Ultra-Star Sport disc [link to ultra-stars], the office disc of the Ultimate Players Association (UPA) and offers the second largest selection of golf discs of any manufacturer. Discwing – Discwing, a U.K. based manufacturer of golf discs, gained the interest and respect of the disc golf community with the release of their first disc in 2005, the Quarter K. Innova – Innova, based in Rancho Cucamonga CA, is the world’s largest manufacturer of disc golf products. In 1984, Innova produced the first modern golf disc (the Aero) and patented the triangular rim shape that was to become the standard for all high-speed discs.
