Join Round Rock’s very own Double R Disc Golf Club for their weekly mini @ Old Settler’s Park (The Rock) in Round Rock, TX. This course set all the standards for today’s championships courses. Over 9100 ft of disc golf featuring two par fours and one par five (over 1000 ft!). A brainchild of legendary course designer John Houck, this course extended the traditional limits of a disc golf course by borrowing the best from ball-golf courses. It’s no pitch-and-putt out here! What counts at The Rock is a solid game throughout, not just memorizing the 18 throws needed to master a traditional course.

The second installment of Waterleague 2007 starts July 5th, and is held every Thursday night for 10 weeks. Once you've paid your $20, you can play all 10 weeks. Your top 5 scores count, so you must play in at least 5 minis to have a complete score, and if you play in all 10 weeks, you can drop your 5 worst scores - very cool. An optional $5 ace pot is split between everyone who hits an ace during the 10-week season.

One of the hottest minis in Austin. Normally attended by at least 25-50 players weekly during the Winter months and nearing 80 players during the Summer and Fall, this is definitely the place to be on Friday afternoons. The most heavily played course in Austin is home to more Ace opportunities than any other 18 hole course in town. Better make sure your putting is on that day as most top spots cash out well under par. We've seen this Ace Pot go as high as $600! Problem is, if you don't hit it that week, someone else will!

Disc Golf (also known as "Frisbee Golf" and "Folf" or "Frolf" and even "Disk Golf") is played much like traditional golf. Players use flying discs (golf discs or Frisbees®) and play holes that start with a tee area and end with a Disc Golf Basket or Target. The object: complete the hole by putting your golf disc in the basket in the fewest number of throws. The sport was formalized in the 1970s and is governed by the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA). There are more than 1,750 disc golf courses worldwide, with over 1,400 in the USA.
